Hello, I am Rosie! I am the grower, florist, admin and marketing behind The Hopeful Flower Co.
What started as a small hobby in my garden, has blossomed into a business where I get the pleasure of sharing my beautiful flowers with other people.
I grow at home and on a small site in my village in the Hope Valley. Soil health and biodiversity are at the heart of my growing practices.
I am ‘helped’ by my Border Collie, Bill, who is pretty much always by my side when i’m cutting!
Growing my own flowers and sourcing from other local growers means that I am able to offer the very best of seasonal, British grown blooms. I offer gift bouquets, wedding flowers and farewell flowers.

Sustainability
Sustainability is an important element of The Hopeful Flower Co. I am committed to eco-friendly practices that support the natural environment around me.
These are just some of the methods I use:
I use ‘no-dig’ production methods and utilise cover crops to improve soil structure
I use peat-free compost whilst re-using and recycling as many plastic containers for seed starting as possible (I love an old blueberry container!)
I never use pesticides
I wrap all bouquets in compostable or recyclable packaging
